Chef Traver Lucas
I’ve been enjoying working in kitchens in and around the Ann Arbor area for fourteen years.
Attending Washtenaw Community College for my culinary arts degree, I continued to work in smaller private restaurants and then a hotel to gain knowledge of large scale production and organization. I started Chef House Catering in 2007 with the help of some friends I’ve made along the way. When I’m not in the Kitchen I enjoy the outdoors, music, art, and love to travel. For me the most rewarding part of this business is being able to be at a different house or location every week, and learning something new from the experience and the people we meet.
Chef Craig Pierson
I am a 29 year old father of a 3 year old boy. I started cooking at the age of 14 and at 22 realized I loved it and wanted to pursue it as a career. So I went to College at Schoolcraft for Culinary Arts. I received my Sous Chef certification from the American Culinary Federation in August of 2008.
I have had the privilege of working in different areas of the country such as the Metate Room in Colorado’s Mesa Verde National Park. When I’m not in the kitchen, I like to mix records, workout, dance to techno music, and take my son on adventures. “I live my life one day at a time, I can’t take back yesterday or borrow from tomorrow….Right now is all we have.”
